Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) AWS GovCloud
Location-Remote
Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior SRE with 8+ years of experience in SRE, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS multi-account environments, AWS Organizations, IAM, Terraform, cloud governance, and automation using Python, Go, or Ruby. Experience with AWS Control Tower, Account Factory for Terraform, CloudFormation, EventBridge, Lambda, SQS, and IAM Identity Center is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage AWS GovCloud foundations, AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and account automation.
Implement cloud governance, Service Control Policies (SCPs), and landing zone patterns.
Develop reusable Terraform modules and secure infrastructure-as-code patterns.
Support cloud networking, IAM, account provisioning, and compliance automation.
Collaborate with engineering teams to implement secure, scalable cloud solutions.
Participate in production support, incident response, cost optimization, and operational documentation.
Nice to Have:
Experience with AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, FIPS, FinOps, compliance automation, and reusable Terraform modules.
