Job Summary

We are recruiting for a Truck Driver/Shipping Receiving position in Fresno, CA for a quality-focused manufacturing environment within the metals industry. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a dependable  driver with flatbed experience who also enjoys hands-on warehouse, shipping, receiving, and material handling work.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to deliver metal materials to customers and pick up materials from customer jobsites or vendors.
- Load and unload trucks while verifying materials, packaging, and customer specifications for accuracy.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move metal products and supplies throughout the warehouse or yard.
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA safety requirements and company vehicle operation standards.
- Support shipping, receiving, warehouse organization, and general material handling duties as needed.
- Maintain productivity, accuracy, and safe work practices while completing assigned tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $24.00 to $27.00 per year.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Operate a commercial vehicle for customer deliveries, jobsite pickups, and vendor pickups.
- Load, unload, verify, and transport metal materials of various shapes and sizes.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes as needed.
- Support shipping, receiving, packaging verification, and warehouse material movement.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 3 years of flatbed driving experience required.
- Unexpired Class A CDL is A+ 
- Clean driving record required.
- Valid FMCSA medical card required.
- Experience making customer deliveries and pickups required.
- Basic math and reading skills required.
- Ability to pass physical requirements for vision, hearing, and mobility.
- Strong safety mindset, reliability, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Industrial warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience working with metal products, flatbed loads, oversized materials, or similar industrial materials preferred.
- Forklift and overhead crane operating experience preferred.
