New Market Development GIS Engineer (Arrow)

Duration: 3–6 month contract (starting at 3 months with potential extension) Location: 100% Remote Citizen or Green Card only! No C2C! Position Overview We are seeking a Market Development (GIS) Engineer to support fiber network expansion initiatives. This role will focus on evaluating and designing new markets, leveraging GIS tools and data analytics to determine the technical and financial viability of fiber builds. This is a high-impact, contract role supporting a new market development team and requires strong experience with the ARROW platform . Key Responsibilities Utilize GIS and mapping tools to develop high-level fiber designs and market layouts Analyze datasets including addressing, demographics, housing density, and competitive landscape Develop budget-ready designs to support capital planning and market expansion decisions Serve as a key resource for geospatial data accuracy, consistency, and standardization Build market opportunity reports, presentations, and insights for leadership Support ROI modeling, business case development, and financial projections Identify optimal service areas, routing strategies, and cost-efficient build approaches Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to align on feasibility Maintain datasets, dashboards, and tracking tools for market pipeline visibility Qualifications 3+ years of experience in fiber design, GIS, or network planning Strong experience with the ARROW platform (required) Background in telecom, fiber, or infrastructure network planning Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets Experience with tools such as Excel, GIS platforms, Google Earth, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment Strong communication and presentation skills This is a contract-only opportunity (no conversion to full-time) Immediate need supporting a high-priority market development initiative #J-18808-Ljbffr Swoon
