Emergency Relief Veterinarian

Emergency duties include being a primary emergency receiving clinician managing primary/referral emergency cases while mentoring and instructing house officers and senior veterinary students.

Requirements and Preferences

Work Schedule - TBD, as needed basis 0-3 shifts/month, 10-12 hour shifts

Minimum Experience/Education - DVM (or equivalent degree) and eligibility for veterinary licensure (or faculty certificate) in the State of NC required.

Department Required Skills - Extensive experience in emergency/critical care medicine. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis and up to 100 with assistance.

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education - Prefer a minimum of three years receiving emergency cases and/or a small animal rotating internship.

Required License or Certification - DVM (or equivalent degree) and eligibility for veterinary licensure (or faculty certificate) in the State of NC required.
