Senior Software Engineer (Python & AWS) (Full-Time) Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Dallas, TX Compensation: $130-$140K Base + Benefits About the Role We are seeking a senior software engineer to help modernize our restaurant technology platform by designing and building scalable, cloud-native solutions across our POS and back‑office ecosystem. This senior individual contributor will develop secure, high‑performance systems supporting restaurant operations, inventory modernization, and intelligent automation. Responsibilities Design and develop scalable POS and back‑office integration services. Build cloud‑native APIs and distributed microservices on AWS. Develop secure, PCI‑compliant transaction processing solutions. Modernize inventory and item master management. Create reusable integrations across POS, kitchen, and enterprise systems. Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and operational excellence. Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver business‑driven technology solutions. Leverage AI and automation to improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of software engineering experience. Strong experience with Restaurant POS, Retail, Hospitality, or Store Technology. Expertise in Python, REST APIs, and distributed systems. Hands‑on experience with AWS and cloud‑native application development. Experience building high‑availability, low‑latency transactional systems. Strong knowledge of CI/CD, testing, and production support. Experience working in PCI‑compliant or regulated environments. Experience with AI/Generative AI is a plus.
