About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Presales (Life & Annuities) to spearhead the strategic and customer-facing presales organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with defining and executing the presales strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition within the Life & Annuity insurance sector. This executive leader will oversee a team of solution consultants, business consultants, and presales specialists, and will be the key partner to Sales, Product Management, Delivery, and Marketing throughout the customer lifecycle. The role demands a professional with a minimum of 12 years' experience in enterprise software, insurance technology, consulting, presales, solution architecture, or related leadership roles, with at least 7 years specifically in the Life & Annuity insurance sector. The VP of Presales will also be responsible for leading the team in supporting complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise software sales cycles, and must possess a strong understanding of Life & Annuity insurance operations, including policy administration, underwriting, new business, servicing, claims, compliance, and digital engagement. The ideal candidate for the Vice President, Presales (Life & Annuities) position at the company will have a proven track record in presales leadership and strategy, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams. They should be adept at establishing scalable processes and tools to enhance win rates and sales effectiveness, and be capable of aligning presales priorities with corporate growth objectives. The role also requires a leader who can foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration, and who is experienced in revenue growth and sales support, including the development of pursuit strategies and driving solution differentiation. The VP of Presales will be expected to engage with customer and industry executives, act as a trusted advisor, and represent the company at various events. Operational excellence is key, with a focus on managing presales performance metrics, improving forecasting accuracy, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
