Your primary responsibilities as Retsch Service Engineer (m/f/d): Customer Support Excellence: Be the go-to expert for our customers—resolving technical queries via phone and email, and performing in-house troubleshooting and repairs to keep critical equipment running smoothly. Contract & Equipment Care: Take ownership of preventative maintenance contracts, ensuring both Verder Scientific lab units and customer equipment operate at peak performance. Quoting & Relationship Building: Prepare accurate spare parts quotations while fostering strong, trusted relationships with key accounts and end users. Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean, efficient, and well‑organized workspace that supports quality and safety. As Retsch Service Engineer you're a perfect match, if... Technical Foundation: An Associate’s Degree in a technical field, or at least 3 years of hands‑on experience as a maintenance/service technician in a lab or industrial environment. Practical Expertise: Confidence working with single and three‑phase wiring; experience using tools such as multimeters and clamp meters; ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings; and a solid understanding of mechanical systems. Digital & System Skills: Sound experience with CRM and ERP systems is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Professional Strengths: Excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
