Onin Staffing is hiring a Staffing Assistant to join our Ridgeland, Mississippi branch! The Staffing Assistant plays an important role in supporting our branch's day-to-day operations and creating a positive experience for applicants and teammates. This position provides administrative support, greets and assists applicants in a professional and welcoming manner, manages office logistics, and supports the team with interviewing, onboarding, and other staffing-related activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. Ultimately, the Staff Assistant helps keep our branch running efficiently while supporting our team in delivering outstanding service to our applicants, teammates, and clients. This position is an important part of helping the branch achieve its goals and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet applicants and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
• Assist applicants with the application, interview, and onboarding process
• Answer phones and respond to general inquiries
• Provide administrative and clerical support to the branch team
• Maintain accurate applicant and employee records
• Assist with scheduling interviews, orientations, and onboarding activities
• Support recruiting and staffing efforts as needed
• Maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming office environment
• Assist with office supplies, mail, filing, and other office logistics
• Communicate effectively with applicants, teammates, and clients
• Handle multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Perform other duties as needed to support branch operations and team goals
