Overview The Department of Neurology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine — Tucson, in collaboration with Banner — University Medicine Tucson, seeks Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologists to join our growing interdisciplinary clinical faculty team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive neurological care to pediatric patients in both ambulatory and inpatient settings, primarily at the Banner Diamond Children’s Medical Center and associated outpatient clinics located within minutes of the hospital. Clinical & Academic Environment The Department of Neurology is committed to comprehensive neurological care for children with a wide spectrum of neurological disorders, including epilepsy, neuromuscular diseases, movement disorders, headache, neurogenetic conditions, and neurodevelopmental disorders. The department offers state‑of‑the‑art inpatient and outpatient facilities, including dedicated pediatric specialty clinics. Multidisciplinary care teams — including pediatric subspecialists, therapists, and support staff — ensure coordinated care. The department hosts a thriving neurology residency program with 24 residents and emphasizes education and academic growth. The department houses a robust Clinical Research Unit with dedicated personnel and infrastructure to support clinical and translational research, including industry‑ and investigator‑initiated studies, and provides data management and statistical support resources. Responsibilities The successful candidate will actively participate in teaching and mentorship of neurology residents and medical students and will have the opportunity to contribute to clinical or basic science research.
