CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT II

Medical Assistants are essential members of the clinic team. They assist with exams and procedures, manage patient flow, and support the department as needed. Position Highlights Assist patients with ambulation and movement using proper body mechanics. Perform patient screening: vital signs, allergy information, medication history, and document in medical record. Support providers during patient procedures, including room prep and aseptic technique. Maintain knowledge and skills for patient care appropriate to age groups. Provide support with phone calls and faxes. Recognize emergency situations and administer first aid and CPR. Credentials and Qualifications Medical Assistant Trainee High school diploma or GED. BLS certification. Completion of Medical Assistant Program. CMA Certification within 6 months from hire. Clinical Assistant High school diploma or GED. BLS certification. 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient clinic. CMA Certification within 6 months from hire. Certified Medical Assistant High school diploma or GED. BLS certification. CMA certification. Certified Medical Assistant II High school diploma or GED. BLS certification. CMA certification. 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
