Performs all ultrasound procedures according to department policies. Follows prescribed hospital safety standards and practices sterile techniques to prevent contamination. Positions and transfers patients for exams. Maintains adequate records per department and hospital policies. Assists physicians in performing invasive procedures, ensuring proper lab work and specimen delivery. Incorporates patient, physician, and customer needs and concerns into decision‑making and organizational actions. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the Ultrasound Department and secures and restocks supplies as necessary. Attends a minimum of 50% of scheduled department meetings and obtains information from missed meetings. Follows AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank) at all times. Maintains ethical, professional relationships and follows the “Standard of Behavior” guidelines per hospital policy. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities N/A Education Associate's Degree (Required) Technical/Vocational School (Required) Field of Study N/A Work Experience 1+ year of position‑related experience (Required) Licenses and Certifications Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) (Required) Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required) Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
