How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Sterile Field Optimization :   Expertly prepare operating suites by coordinating sterile drapes, solutions, and specialized instrumentation to ensure a seamless surgical environment.
• Intraoperative Technical Support:   Provide proactive assistance to the surgical team by precisely managing instrument transitions and anticipating surgeon needs throughout complex procedures.
• Comprehensive Patient Care :   Facilitate safe clinical outcomes through meticulous attention to patient transport, anatomical positioning, and sterile draping protocols.
• Aseptic Integrity & Inventory Control :   Maintain rigorous organization of the surgical field while performing precise counts of instruments and supplies to uphold the highest standards of patient safety

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 1–3 years of high-volume Labor and Delivery experience in a fast-paced hospital setting averaging 300+ deliveries monthly
