Fleet Specialist (Overnight Operations)

Youll play a critical role in keeping our rideshare fleet clean, safe, and ready to roll every morning. This position bridges the gap between our PM and AM operations, ensuring every vehicle is properly received, maintained, and launched without downtime./ppThis is a physical, fast-paced role ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping vehicles running smoothly and enjoys problem-solving in a dynamic environment./ph3What Youll Do/h3pEnd-of-Shift Support (PM Close)/pulliReceive returning vehicles at the end of the day and collect keys, tablets, and other driver equipment./liliNote any reported issues, and inspect for damage or warning lights./liliPerform light interior cleaning (vacuuming, wipe-downs) and restock basic supplies./li/ulpPreventative Maintenance Vehicle Upkeep/pulliConduct basic maintenance including oil and filter changes, tire pressure checks, and fluid top-offs (coolant, wiper fluid, etc.)./liliReplace wipers, bulbs, and other minor components as needed./liliLog maintenance tasks and communicate larger repairs to the Fleet Manager or vendors./li/ulpFleet Readiness Cleaning/pulliPressure wash vehicles for the next shift./liliMaintain garage cleanliness, tool organization, and inventory of supplies./li/ulpMorning Launch Support (AM Start)/pulliPrepare vehicles for dispatch before drivers arrive./liliTroubleshoot basic app, phone, or equipment issues to ensure on-time launches./li/ulpAdministrative Support/pulliTrack vehicle assignments, inspections, and maintenance logs./liliReport and document incidents, driver notes, or missing items./liliSupport the operations team with ad-hoc fleet or logistics tasks./li/ulh3What Youll Bring/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required./liliBackground in automotive service, fleet operations, or logistics strongly preferred./liliBasic mechanical knowledge comfortable changing oil, checking tires, and performing minor repairs./liliExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills./liliStrong communication and teamwork, with the ability to work independently overnight./liliComfortable using mobile apps and learning new digital tools./liliMust be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a garage environment./liliValid drivers license with a clean driving record required./li/ulpCompensation: $24/hour/ppEqual Opportunity Employer: 8Fleet is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
