Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 1-2 years of ICU experience and NC or compact RN licensure.

Job Details

• Work in an 8-bed ICU/CCU unit within an acute care hospital,
• Serves patients of all ages, with common diagnoses including respiratory failure,
• Patient ratio of 1:2-3,
• Uses Cerner EHR,
• Night shift schedule, 7PM-7AM,
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend,
• Call requirements as needed,
• Floating required with a 1:6 ratio,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required,
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI/HWC/MAB, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS),
• 1-2 years of ICU experience required,
• Education, licensure, and certification required to work as an RN in North Carolina,

Additional Information

• Deliver high-acuity ICU nursing care, including management of respiratory failure cases,
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays,
• Scrubs of any color permitted; no casual attire allowed,
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate,
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible,
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
