Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume OR environment with 11 main operating rooms serving a primarily adult patient population
• Circulate in surgical cases spanning specialties including robotic, orthopedic, general, GYN, vascular, urology, and neurology (ortho spine)
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio across days, nights, and weekends
• Participate in on-call coverage, including an expected 3 overnight call shifts per 4-week period and 1–2 weekend call shifts per 4-week period, with a 30-minute call response time requirement
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Support urgent and emergent cases as needed after 7:00 PM

Required Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Circulator skills required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• COVID-19 vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions accepted
• Pending licenses are not accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic surgical procedures
• Familiarity with a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedic, vascular, and neurology
• Prior experience in a community hospital or acute care setting
