As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide visible presence, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver professional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records. Control access for deliveries, vendors, and contractors in accordance with established procedures, including directing authorized personnel to designated areas. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, exterior areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
