As an Optical Lab Technician, you'll be at the heart of our mission, working hands-on in our state-of-the-art lab to craft high-quality eyewear that makes a difference in people's lives. You'll be trained across key areas of our optical lab so you can master equipment calibrations, ensure top-notch quality, and keep production running smoothly. This role is located at the SLC Lab (2595 Custer Road SLC, UT 84104). Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 8:00AM until 6:00PM. Starting Wage: $18.50/Hr.

All optical lab technicians are trained in the essential job functions in their primary department, including Surface, AR, and Finishing. These will include:

• Calibrations and operations of all equipment.
• Effectively identify and address work flow and quality issues.
• Following standard operating procedures.

Technicians will also have the opportunity to be trained in the essential job functions in other departments to meet business and individual growth needs.

High school diploma (or GED equivalent). Experience working in an optical setting. Intermediate computer skills are needed, including: Windows OS, Excel, Word, and Rx Universe. Additional specialized skills in Trail Mix, Quoka, and other in-house software may be required in specific customer interface roles. Hustle and tireless work ethic.
