Travel Nurse RN - NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - $2,033 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements

NICU Level IV Certifications Required: BLS, NRP Certifications Preferred: PALS Nurse : Patient Ratio by shift: 1:1,1:2,or 1:3 Special Equipment: IV pumps, smart pumps, pyxis, POCT, oxygen, milk warmers, oscillators, Servo and Drager vents Nurses- start IV's, and draw labs manage drips, transport team on site, resource nurse attends all high risk deliveries, RT's manage ventilators, and process RT lab from EPOC.Complex Surgical Level 4 NICU, with specialized delivery unit on site. If unit census allows, staff float to other NICU's in network or DCMC inhouse, units policies, charting and procedures are standardized throughout network. Units have same Division Chief Neonatologist therefore- physicians are shared within network. Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule (days = Sat/Sun, nights = Fri/Sat/Sun) Holiday Requirements: Holidays required per hospital requirements
