Respiratory Therapist II | Freeman West | Full-Time

Respiratory Therapy Position

Responsible for evaluation and treatment of patients with cardiac or pulmonary disorders. Obtains, analyzes and correlates patient clinical data and makes recommendations and/or implements care plan. Manages complex patient/ventilator systems within protocol guidelines. Anticipates crises and complications and performs or recommends appropriate interventions. Works independently within departmental guidelines.

Requirements:

• Currently registered as a respiratory therapist (RRT) through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Licensed as an RCP in Missouri.
• Neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) preferred.
• PALS provider preferred.
• ECMO experience.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. learner.
• AHA ACLS within 180 days.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers within 30 days.

Preferred requirements:

• Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification.
