Job Summary The Paramedic is a licensed Paramedic who functions under the direct supervision of the Staff Nurse, Department Director, Clinical Manager of the Cardiac Cath Lab, and physicians. The role is full‑time, day shift, with compensation up to $3,000 supplemental bonus over 24 months. Responsibilities Assist with patient care by performing clinical and supportive functions for which the Paramedic has documented competency. The Paramedic adheres to policy, procedures, and established standards of practice while working directly under the supervision of nursing and medical staff. Qualifications Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; minimum education required for licensure as a Paramda in the State of Florida. Experience: None required; one (1) year of Emergency Services experience preferred. Required Certification/Licensure: State of Florida Paramedic License; BLS and ACLS certification; CPI certification within three (3) months of hire. Other Qualifications: Complete Blood Draw competency within three (3) months of hire; complete EKG competency within three (3) months of hire.
