Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment at an acute care Level II Trauma hospital, requiring ARRT or RCIS certification and experience in both cath lab and interventional radiology procedures.

Details

• Work in a cath lab/IR setting within a 360-bed acute care Level II Trauma hospital
• Caseload of 8–12 cases
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call is required, running approximately 7–10 days per month
• STEMI call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation
• One full weekend of call required per month
• No floating to other units required
• Charting in Cerner and McKesson

Requirements

• Current BLS and ACLS required
• ARRT certification required; RCIS accepted if candidate has IR experience
• MD state license required if applicable
• IR experience required for RCIS candidates
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility has a strict no-tobacco policy and screens for nicotine and cotinine — candidates who use any form of nicotine (cigarettes, vapes, patches, gum, etc.) are not eligible for this position
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Parking is available in the patient/visitor parking garage at no cost to the traveler
