About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – Trauma Telemetry (Night Shift)

Asheville, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Trauma Telemetry unit with a night shift RN ratio of 1:6/7
• Monitor patients using medical remote telemetry equipment and document via Cerner EMR
• Prepare patients for procedures including Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and OR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, and HUC staff in a fast-paced environment
• Adhere to unit dress code and weekend shift requirements (minimum 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
• Float to sister Med-Surge units as needed (3W, 5W, K8)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Telemetry
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge Nurse or leadership experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• CMSRN certification
• Hard-working, compassionate, and team-oriented with comfort in a fast-paced trauma environment
