Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking Heavy Equipment Processors at our equipment processing center in Baltimore, MA. The Heavy Equipment Processor starting pay rate is $28.65. What You’ll Do Load and unload construction equipment to/from trailers for receiving or shipment from the yard Safely operate lift truck, overhead crane, or other material handling equipment Drive and operate equipment including backing up, tilting or raising or lowering attachments or other machine movements to facilitate transport Be able to work outside in all reasonable weather conditions Read and interpret paperwork associated with the shipping/receiving function including bills of lading, shipping orders, manifests, tally sheets or export documentation Must have a current driver’s license to drive units from the factory to the yard for storage or distribution What You’ll Need Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes Ability to read and interpret paperwork associated with shipping/receiving function Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds Ability to complete a full workday walking and/or standing in all reasonable weather conditions Current valid driver’s license Benefits Choose from a range of low-cost health insurance options to support your well-being including medical, dental and vision after 30 days of employment Secure your financial future with an industry-leading company-matching 401(k) plan Company paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability Explore career development with access to on-the-job training Access to exclusive discounts on attractions, automotive, travel and more Working Conditions Environmental conditions vary by location, including indoor and outdoor settings.
