Job Description PRN Inpatient Psychiatrist openingLocation: Johnson City, TNWe are seeking a PRN Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our behavioral health team in Johnson City, Tennessee. This position primarily involves covering an inpatient facility and providing consults at other local healthcare facilities as needed.Key Responsibilities:Provide inpatient psychiatric care at the designated facility.Assist with consults at additional facilities as required.Collaborate with a treatment team that includes PMHNPs, social workers, therapists, RNs, LPNs, and tech staff.Participate in daily treatment team meetings.Handle 2nd certifications for involuntary admissions via laptop or tablet using a secure portal (required for Tennessee admissions).Hours:8 -hour shifts, with flexible start times (either 8am or 9am), ending at 5pm or 6pm.Unit Demographics:Adult, sub-acute population with some geriatric psych patients depending on their level of functioning.Main diagnoses include bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, detox (secondary), depression, insomnia, and suicidal ideations.Technology:EMR system used: EPIC.Why Join Us?We value our PRN providers as integral members of our team and are always open to feedback to help improve our processes.
