Travel Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Schedule: 8-Hour Day Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy acute care setting. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong X-ray experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced imaging department and providing high-quality patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality.
• Maintain patient safety and radiation protection standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with department guidelines.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information within the electronic medical record system.
• Assist with departmental workflow and patient care activities as needed.

• Acute Care Radiology Department
• Approximately 100 imaging studies performed daily
• Two imaging rooms
• EMR: Cerner
• PACS: RadNet & Merge Unity
• Equipment: GE and Toshiba

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Radiology/X-Ray experience.
• Active ARRT certification.
• Current BLS certification through AHA.
