Travel RN - Med Surg

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel RN specializing in Med Surg to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Med Surg unit, adhering to established clinical guidelines.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor patient status and document care in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and care plans.

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every other weekend required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Compact or AL RN License
• BLS Certification
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in a Med Surg setting
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
