In 2025, Sealed Air generated $5.4 billion in sales and has approximately 16,100 employees who serve customers in 119 countries/territories.We are seeking an experienced Field Service Cushioning Tsr Role/Field Service Technician to support customers throughout Washington State, with occasional travel to Idaho.This is a customer-facing field service role focused on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated packaging and cushioning equipment at customer locations. The position combines mechanical, electrical, automation, and industrial maintenance skills with strong customer service and communication abilities.This role is primarily field-based, with no regular office work. Overnight travel is required occasionally but is not expected every week. Travel to Idaho is typically limited to approximately once a month or every other month, depending on business needs. Occasional air travel may also be required for training or other business needs.What You'll DoInstall, commission, and test automated packaging systemsTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and automation issuesPerform preventive maintenance and emergency repairsTrain customers on equipment operation and maintenanceComplete service reports and maintain accurate documentationCollaborate with Engineering, Technical Support, and Sales teamsIdentify opportunities for service agreements, upgrades, and replacement partsFollow OSHA and company safety standardsQualificationsAssociate degree in Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or automation.Technical Skills Experience with one or more of the following:Field service and industrial maintenancePLC troubleshooting and industrial controlsElectrical and mechanical repairRobotics and industrial automationPackaging machinery and automated equipmentConveyor systemsHMI, VFDs, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsMachine installation and commissioningPreventive maintenanceRoot cause analysisElectrical schematics and technical documentationPreferred Experience Experience servicing automated packaging systems, industrial machinery, manufacturing or production equipment, conveyor systems, robotics, or material handling equipment.
