Major Duties & Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations. Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses. Act as a leader in optical acumen. Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs. Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions. Use technology accurately despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and appropriate tools. Proactively explore root cause of issues, forward thinking, ensuring customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded, solution driven. Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities. Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies. Take pride in store appearance, help keep store clean, attractive and organized. Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices. Be resourceful, self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results. Adhere to company policies and procedure, including discounts, promotions and inventory management. Basic Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. State licensure. Optical dispensing experience. Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder. Knowledge of current store merchandise. Strong basic math skills. Awareness of current fashion trends. Strong selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet. Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators. Embrace new technology and change. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience. Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $25.02–$39.02 hourly. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first‑class total rewards package.
