FullTilt Crane Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Martin Concrete Construction, is seeking an experienced and driven Full Tilt Project Manager to join our team!

The Full Tilt Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and oversight of crane operations from initial estimate through project completion . This role will ensure projects are properly planned, scheduled, and executed while meeting or exceeding operational, production, and cost objectives.

This is an opportunity for a construction professional with experience in the crane and tilt-wall industry who understands lift planning, project logistics, concrete construction, and the coordination required to successfully execute complex lifting operations.

The Project Manager will work closely with customers, estimating, project management, operations teams, crane operators, vendors, and field personnel to develop project plans and ensure successful execution.

What You'll Do

As a Full Tilt Project Manager, you'll oversee the planning and coordination of crane projects while supporting safe, efficient, and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimate and develop project budgets, including analysis of crane costs for internal preconstruction pursuits.
• Communicate with prospective clients regarding upcoming projects and project requirements while maintaining strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare estimates and bids for external lifting opportunities with oversight from the Full Tilt General Manager.
• Review awarded projects with the internal team and develop execution strategies and project plans.
• Develop comprehensive 3D lift plans and Critical Lift Plans as required by the General Contractor.
• Compile FullTilt Crane Services documentation for project submittals, including inspections, employee certifications, and rigging certifications.
• Prepare ground bearing pressure maps and crane road plans, including paths and access requirements.
• Communicate ground bearing pressure requirements and create panel layouts and logistics plans as needed.
• Attend Martin DWP and Pre-Tilt Meetings and document and communicate proposed crane plans with Martin project management and field teams to ensure alignment prior to execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving crane and operator scheduling conflicts.
• Assist with the management, coordination, and adjustment of ongoing projects and identify and escalate project risks to the Full Tilt General Manager.
• Assist the Full Tilt General Manager in evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of project lifts and crane operators.
• Coordinate and schedule third-party and additional crane services as needed, reviewing proposals for cost, scope, and potential project risks.
• Coordinate internal and external welding services required for projects.
• Maintain accurate employee, equipment, and project documentation, including timecards, expense submissions, and pricing for change order work outside the original scope.
• Prepare, monitor, and follow up on customer billing and monthly P&L statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers, employees, vendors, and project teams.
• Ensure project work is performed in compliance with Martin Construction Group's mission, core values, safety culture, policies, procedures, and practices.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in the crane and tilt-wall industry , with knowledge of concrete tilt panels, DOT rules and regulations, and crane industry methods and requirements.
• Experience creating lift plans, panel layouts, and project logistics plans .
• Knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Extensive knowledge of concrete practices, formwork systems, means, and methods.
• In-depth knowledge of project safety and OSHA standards.
• Ability to independently identify and resolve complex issues.
• Ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Driven to continue learning about the technical aspects of concrete construction.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
• Ability to work nights and out of town when necessary.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for jobsite travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA Certification
• First Aid & CPR Certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Physical & Travel Requirements

This position requires regular visits to active construction jobsites and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and precipitation.

The Project Manager must be able to:

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods while performing site visits and inspections.
• Safely access crane cabs, ladders, scaffolding, and elevated or uneven jobsite areas.
• Occasionally lift and carry equipment or materials up to 25 pounds .
• Observe rigging operations, hand signals, and jobsite hazards with sufficient visual and auditory acuity, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Travel regularly to active jobsites throughout the assigned region, including multiple sites in a single day.
• Travel on short notice to support scheduled or emergent lifts.
• Complete occasional overnight and out-of-town travel for multi-day projects.
