GUEST SERVICES AGENT (PART TIME)

Job Details Position: GUEST SERVICES AGENT (part time) Location: Warren Conference Center and Inn - 529 Chestnut Street, Ashland, Massachusetts 01721. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule: Part time; days may vary, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Weekend and holiday availability required. Fixed Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour. Experience: Prior hospitality experience preferred; willing to train. Benefits: Free meals, uniforms and laundering service available at select locations. Responsibilities Completes the registration/check‑in process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system confirming pertinent information. Ensures rooms and services are correctly accounted for within guest statement. Assists guests with check‑out payments or charges. Accepts and records vouchers, credit, traveler’s checks, and other forms of payment. Balances and drops receipts according to accounting specifications. Provides guests with information about the facility, services, and amenities. Receives special requests from guests and responds appropriately or forwards requests to appropriate team members for decisions and actions. Promptly answers the telephone and email inquiries; retrieves and forwards messages to/from guests; retrieves mail, packages and facsimiles. Fields and resolves guest complaints or escalates for resolution to the appropriate department. Assists guests in emergency situations. Maintains adequate supplies and functional equipment at the Front Desk. Performs any special assignments deemed by the GM, Guest Services manager, or Manager on Duty. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and adapt to hotel operations is essential. Ability to communicate effectively with guests in a friendly, courteous manner, and to resolve issues efficiently.
