Development Assistant, Major Giving

Development Assistant, Major Giving Works alongside fundraisers, university colleagues and external constituents to develop, support and maintain programs and activities consistent with securing philanthropic support for the University. Fundraising work in Major Giving is focused on managing the qualification, solicitation and stewarding of individual giving from alumni, parents and friends for gifts between $250,000 and $4,999,000. Responsibilities Preparing materials for fundraiser prospect visits Making travel arrangements Completing transmittal forms for pledges and gifts received Filing visit reports in Blackbaud Drafting gift acknowledgments Requesting research and pulling additional donor or prospect information from various systems Supporting the work associated with external constituents’ visits to campus, meetings and special events, often interfacing with the Programs and Events team to maximize event effectiveness within budgetary guidelines Salary Hiring Range: $26.32/hr to $32.88/hr. Pay rate commensurate with relevant experience.
