Position Summary

Premier Recovery Services is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious Camera Car Driver to locate vehicles assigned for repossession using License Plate Recognition (LPR/ALPR) technology. The Camera Car Driver patrols designated areas, scans license plates, identifies assigned collateral, and reports vehicle locations to the recovery team while maintaining professionalism and following all company policies and applicable laws.

Essential Job Duties

• Operate a company camera car equipped with LPR/ALPR technology.
• Patrol assigned routes while scanning license plates.
• Locate vehicles assigned for repossession.
• Verify vehicle information before reporting a recovery opportunity.
• Submit accurate vehicle location information using company software.
• Complete required check-ins, scans, and daily activity reports.
• Follow all traffic laws and drive safely at all times.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and management throughout the shift.
• Perform daily inspections of the company vehicle and camera equipment.
• Keep the company vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Report vehicle damage, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns immediately.
• Protect confidential customer information.
• Represent Premier Recovery Services professionally with clients, law enforcement, and the public.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.
• Experience with GPS navigation and mobile applications.
• Previous repossession, security, delivery, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to enter and exit the vehicle frequently.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
