Warehouse Associat e - Fontana, CA


What You'll Do:

You'll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you're loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you'll work in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly - from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

In This Role You'll:

All Associates:

• Safely operate material handling equipment : electric pallet jacks and Reach forklifts (certification required , QCD can certify you )
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology ( RF Scanners, Vo Collect Headset , and Warehouse Management System ) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

Loader Specific:

• Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely
• Secure pallets for shipment and verify shipping documentation
• Assist dock operations including staging and organizing shipments

Selector (Picker) Specific:

• Use (Vo C ollect headset ) to pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

What You'll Bring :

All Associates:

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems , electric pallet jack (required) and Vo Collect headset or voice pick exp ( preferred)
• Union Experience - Experience working in unionized environments strongly preferred

Loader:

• Electric pallet jack certification and at least 6 months of safe operation experience (required)

Selector (Picker) Specific:

• Valid electric pallet jack certification or experience with 6+ months of safe equipment operation

• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation

• Use a voice-directed picking system ( Vo Collect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

Schedule & Setting :

• Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse ( dry, cooler freezer : -5 °F to 38 °F)
• Primarily a 4-day work week, with shifts typically starting between 4 AM and 5 P M ; weekend and holiday availability required
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 - lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

Please note that the compensation details listed in postings reflect the base pay only.

Additional compensation including bonuses and car allowances are subject to eligibility.

Location, confirmed job-related skills, education, experience, and relevant training will be considered in setting the actual starting salary.
