Guaranteed Hours: 36

Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association

Valid professional license within the state of practice / nurse licensure compact

Verification of suicide training

Verification of demographic data via Nursys e-Notify

Proof of right to work in the United States

Critical care experience in a hospital setting

Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.

Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Prepare and administer medications as prescribed and record their administration accurately.

Initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physicians, teaching patients and their families how to manage their illnesses/injuries.

Record patient medical information and vital signs accurately and concisely.

Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpreting and recording electronic displays.
