Rentals Service Manager

Job Title

This position involves managing the repair and maintenance of company owned and customer equipment. Responsibilities include organizing the yard, preparing work schedules, handling service calls, ordering parts, providing training to staff mechanics, working with equipment vendors, evaluating equipment after repairs, documenting equipment status, handling customer complaints, promoting safety awareness, performing quality control checks, updating equipment service records, creating and billing work orders, filing warranty claims, commissioning new equipment, managing parts inventory, disposing of solid and hazardous material waste, and reporting on various metrics. The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to be on call 24/7, extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of aerial equipment, generators, light towers, and compressors, knowledge of work planning and scheduling, strong understanding of equipment capabilities and safety requirements, planning and management experience, computer literacy, and reporting experience. The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
