Outpatient Physical Therapist
Location: Hickory, MD
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 36 hours guaranteed with the potential to work up to 40 hours per week.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have outpatient experience, although new graduates and first-time travelers are welcome to apply. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with orthopedic, neurological, and pelvic health issues.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Administer appropriate therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation.
- Maintain productivity expectations of 60 patient visits per week.
- Manage caseload efficiently, seeing 12-14 patients per day.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current Physical Therapist license.
- Outpatient experience preferred, but not required for new graduates.
