Headquartered in Pompano Beach, we're seeking a Paralegal to support our in-house General Counsel across a broad range of legal, corporate, real estate, employment, and operational matters.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Do you have experience supporting an attorney in a fast-paced corporate environment and the ability to manage multiple legal matters from start to finish? Amped Fitness is seeking a Paralegal to provide hands-on support to our in-house General Counsel. You will assist with legal research, contract management, corporate records, real estate matters, litigation support, compliance, and day-to-day legal operations. This is an in-house role , meaning you'll have the opportunity to work closely with business leaders and gain exposure to the legal matters directly impacting a rapidly growing, multi-state company. The ideal candidate is proactive, exceptionally organized, comfortable handling confidential information, and able to anticipate needs while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Legal & General Counsel Support

• Provide day-to-day legal and administrative support to the General Counsel.
\n
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, memoranda, and other materials as directed.
\n
• Assist with drafting, reviewing, organizing, and tracking legal documents and correspondence.
\n
• Maintain organized electronic and physical legal files and records.
\n
• Prepare materials for attorney review, meetings, negotiations, and legal proceedings.
\n

Contract Management

\n
• Assist with the review, organization, execution, and maintenance of company contracts and agreements.
\n
• Track contract terms, expiration dates, renewal provisions, notice periods, and other key obligations.
\n
• Coordinate with internal departments to obtain information and documentation needed for contract review.
\n
• Ensure executed agreements are properly routed, stored, and maintained.
\n

Corporate & Compliance

\n
• Assist with maintaining corporate records, organizational documents, resolutions, and filings.
\n
• Support entity management and maintain records for Amped Fitness' corporate entities.
\n
• Assist with annual reports, business registrations, licenses, and other corporate filings.
\n
• Assist with preparing documentation for audits, regulatory matters, and internal reviews.
\n
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive legal, corporate, employee, and business information.
\n

Litigation & Claims Support

\n
• Assist the General Counsel with litigation, claims, disputes, and legal proceedings.
\n
• Organize case files, correspondence, pleadings, discovery materials, and other documentation.
\n
• Assist with gathering information and documentation from internal departments.
\n
• Track litigation deadlines, requests, and status updates.
\n

Cross-Functional Support

\n
• Work closely with Finance, Human Resources, Development, Operations, Marketing, and other departments on legal-related matters.
\n
• Serve as a key point of coordination between the legal department and internal business teams.
\n
• Follow up with internal stakeholders to obtain documents, information, and approvals.
\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business, or a related field preferred.
\n
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
\n
• 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate, commercial, real estate, or in-house legal environment.
\n
• Experience supporting an attorney or General Counsel in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, document management, and legal processes.
\n
• Experience with contract management and maintaining organized legal files.
\n
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
\n
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
\n
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and strict deadlines.
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
