Customer Service CoordinatorValley Craft Industries is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our Sales/Customer Service Department. Our Customer Service Representatives are our front-line relationship with our valued customers. The individual needs to have a passion for putting the customer first and thrives in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.Requirements:Create a positive experience for all VCI customers and potential customersEffective and timely communication via phone and emailRespond and address customer inquiries such as product specifications, pricing, and availabilityHandle aspects of quotes, order entry, RMA's, technical support, and other daily tasksPerform organized data entry with attention to detailEducate customers, review their needs analysis, and provide solutionsProblem solve and generate practical and sensible solutions with your customers and colleaguesMultitask and adapt in order to complete various changes requests accurately and in a timely mannerWork as an extension of the sales department with incoming and outgoing sales needsPerform customer satisfaction surveys, quote follow up and customer engagement needs via phone/emailDevelop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of VCI's products and processesCollaborate and work closely with sales and other departments to provide additional supportBe an active team player throughout VCI in order to achieve wider customer and company objectivesMaintain positive attitude and open line of communication with customers, co-workers and managementProvide feedback and continuous improvement opportunities to management and cross-functional teamsInput and track metrics within customer management databasePerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent experience2+ years of successful customer service experience is preferredExcellent listening, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsStrong technical aptitude and customer service skillsSelf-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and strong work ethicExcellent PC and internet skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and ExcelWork well individually or as a team, while multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environmentA consultative solution-based customer service methodologyAdaptable and coachable, seeking feedback to incorporate into daily work styleExperience with ERP/CRM systems; Epicor is a plus but not requiredSales support experience is a plus but not required
