Senior Cyber RF Software Engineer

Requirements Must have: We require an active security clearance with polygraph. We require a bachelors degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or a related field with a DSP focus from an accredited institution. We may also consider equivalent experience: an MS in engineering or computer science plus 2 years of experience, or 4 years of DSP experience with a high school diploma. We require at least 12 years of experience developing DSP algorithms on projects that follow established software processes. We require at least 12 years of professional programming experience using C , Linux, Python, or comparable languages. Preferred qualifications include 4 or more years of RF software development experience. Preferred qualifications include experience implementing Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines. Preferred qualifications include strong Git version-control experience. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Agile and Sprint development methods. Preferred qualifications include DSP techniques such as short-burst or hopping signal detection, energy detection, channelization, and digital signal synthesis. Responsibilities: We lead one or more software development teams and help ensure the work meets or exceeds the applicable software development process. We mentor and guide team members to support their growth and skill development. We consult on user needs and translate requirements into software design and performance specifications. We design, code, debug, and enhance software by adding new functionality or modifying existing code. We troubleshoot defects and improve software reliability and efficiency. We recommend enhancements to documentation and software development process standards. We integrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments. We apply our knowledge of C , Kubernetes, Python 3.0, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile sprint development, and RF/DSP technologies in day-to-day work.
