This 221-bed facility features seven operating suites equipped for pediatric surgeries including general, neuro, orthopedic, ENT, and GI procedures. The hospital operates San Antonio's largest NICU with 94 dedicated beds and holds the distinction of being the first in San Antonio to receive Level IV NICU certification.

San Antonio offers diverse attractions centered around the River Walk, a network of walkways along the river that serves as a focal point for visitors. The area features theme parks including SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, along with cultural attractions such as the McNay Art Museum and Natural Bridge Caverns. Notable experiences include immersive art installations, ghost tours, and UNESCO World Heritage missions that showcase the region's historical significance.

The pediatric anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services for pediatric surgical cases including neurosurgery, orthopedic, general, and ENT procedures during day shifts. The clinician will supervise CRNAs while delivering anesthesia care for pediatric service lines only at one facility. Call coverage is negotiable based on facility needs. The position requires fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology from an ACGME-accredited program and ABA board eligibility or certification.
