Schedule

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs, goals, and physician direction. The therapist is responsible for delegating and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients and ensures the design of functional treatment programs that allow for effective return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to develop tailored treatment plans focused on patient discharge.
• Document medical records clearly, concisely, accurately, and timely in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, providing a positive learning environment and appropriate supervision.
• Create and maintain an individualized professional development plan, pursuing ongoing education and professional growth.
• Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Understand and participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active license for the State where work will be performed.
