We have a range of opportunities avaiable and welcome applications from all levels of experience.The Role:As a Cyber Specialist you will join a team providing cutting edge solutions in real-time operational mission environments .Day-to-day, you will be working within a team who work with the latest innovations, providing solutions to complex problems. Planning and executing advanced red team engagements, simulating real-world attack scenarios to assess and enhance the organisation's security posture.Your responsibilities will include:Identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in infrastructure, applications, and operational processesDeveloping realistic attack scenarios, leveraging tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) from real-world adversariesBypassing defensive measures such as firewalls, EDRs, IDS/IPS, and other security tools to compromise target systemsEssential experience of the Cyber Specialist:A good understanding of national security expectations and personal security behavioursKnowledge of Windows security telemetry and associated evasion techniques ( Kernel Callbacks, Minifilter drivers, ETW Ti, etc.Proficient understanding of Kernel and User-mode implant technology.Expertise in covert communication techniques for evading detectionExperience in testing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) for vulnerabilities and misconfigurationsFamiliarity with common red team and offensive security tools (e.g., Cobalt Strike)In-depth knowledge of Windows security internals and key security mechanisms (e.g., Credential Guard, Protected Process Light, etc.)Desirable experience for the Cyber Specialist:Previous experience of working in a national security environment/cultureDefence experience or experience of working in cultures driven by mission focus and expertisePrior experience of cyber operationsAbility to understand synthetic environments, modelling and simulationPrevious war gaming experienceEssential qualifications for the Cyber Specialist:Offensive Security Certified Expert (OSCE3)CREST Certified Red Team Specialist (CCRTS)We value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.This role is 37 hours per week based at our Malvern site and is fully on-site.
