Position: Janitorial Day Porter Location: Broadway, Nashville TN Pay Rate: $16.00 /hour Schedule: Monday - Friday from 7 a.m - 3:00 pm. About the Role We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our facility's daily cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming, sanitary, and organized environment for everyone who walks through this great facility building. This is a perfect full-time opportunity for someone looking for consistent weekday job. Key Responsibilities
- Restocking & Inventory: Keep bathrooms fully stocked with paper products and soap; safely receive and put away janitorial supplies.
- Routine Cleaning: Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, wiping down high-touch surfaces, and cleaning restrooms.
- Floor Care: Vacuum carpets and maintain floor cleanliness in common areas.
- Waste Management: Regularly pull trash and replace liners to keep the facility clutter-free.
- Teamwork: Complete other specialized cleaning duties as assigned by the supervisor to keep operations running smoothly.
- Experience: 1 year of janitorial or commercial cleaning experience required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to walk extensive distances across campus and repetitively lift up to 35 lbs throughout your shift.
- Screenings: Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and E-verify.
- Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and the ability to work independently.
