RN – Outpatient - Urgent Care

Location: Duluth, GA 30096 Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension) Local Pay: $50/hr. on W2 Shift : 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Ambulatory Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional pre-operative and post-operative patient care in a fast-paced outpatient surgery setting. The ideal candidate will assist during procedures, closely monitor patient recovery, and ensure safe, high-quality care throughout the surgical experience.

Job Duties

• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Assist physicians and the surgical team during outpatient procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and responses before, during, and after procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre-procedure preparation and post-operative care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Float between procedure suites at affiliated facilities in Sandy Springs, Kennesaw, and Jonesboro as needed.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Pre-Op/Post-Op or Ambulatory Surgery nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred if required by the facility).
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment.
• Flexibility to float between multiple affiliated locations when required.
