Registered Nurse, Operating Room

Earn a $20,000 Commitment Bonus. Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 6:45AM – 3:15PM, with a minimum of six on‑call shifts per month, including one full weekend (Friday – Sunday). Central Carolina Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health. The role is for a Registered Nurse on the Surgery/Operating Room team. The team provides high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a rural community, with six main operating rooms and one dedicated OB surgical suite. Surgical services include general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, urology, and other specialties. Responsibilities Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Qualifications Current North Carolina state or compact state RN license. Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred). One year of RN experience in an Operating Room setting. Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire. ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
