NICU Registered Nurse

Location: Pacific Campus, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 3x12 Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description: The NICU Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for neonates with varying conditions, specifically at a Level II Trauma Center with a dedicated Level II NICU. Responsibilities include monitoring premature infants, conducting ROP exams, and managing various types of ventilators.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for neonates 22 weeks and greater gestation.
• Conduct ROP examinations and monitor for risk of nutritional alteration.
• Manage conventional ventilators, oscillators, and high-flow nasal cannulas.
• Supervise and support the placement and management of feeding tubes.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and management of arterial and central lines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Level III NICU experience.
• BCLS and NRP certifications required.
• Ability to float to Family Maternity Center/Postpartum as needed.
