Senior Software Development Engineer

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer. This role is 100% onsite in Northwest Phoenix, AZ. Summary: A growing engineering technology company is seeking a Senior Software Design Engineer to join its R&D team. This role offers the opportunity to develop scalable web applications and service-oriented solutions that support innovative hardware products while working closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams. - Design, develop, deploy, and maintain web applications, APIs, and services
- Architect and build software solutions from concept through production
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and support existing applications
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of software development experience
- Strong experience building web applications and service-oriented architectures
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Management Studio, T-SQL, database tuning and design, developing queries and stored procedure creation
- Strong object-oriented design and development skills
- Proven ability to develop products from the ground up through deployment
- Backend: C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, MVC, REST APIs, Multithreading
- Frontend: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML
- Database: SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS, stored procedures, database design
- Development Practices: SOLID principles, software architecture, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, performance optimization
- React Native (iOS/Android)
- Azure
- Python
- Svelte
- IoT and cloud security experience
- ISO 9001:2015 environment experience
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies
- Full-stack development expertise with a strong focus on ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, and SQL Server
- Experience building new software products from scratch
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Self-motivated engineer who enjoys ownership and working in a fast-paced product development environment
