You will learn and be responsible for the set-up, calibration and operation of machines used in the production process. Training provided on the job. The Machine Shop is responsible for ensuring features are cut into densified carbon material from Furnace Deck. This highly complex process requires operators to have sound math skills and meticulous attention to detail as well as a mechanically inclined mind. Physical work is present but much less demanding than some departments. This stage of the process requires operators to operate large machines and perform tasks assigned for quality control and data integrity within digital systems. Rotating Shift Structure 3-on/3-off rotation equates to 6-months off every year! Rotating day/night shift every 2 months 12-hour shifts: 6:30AM - 6:30PM / 6:30PM – 6:30AM Compensation Built-in, guaranteed overtime “Free” hours on non-overtime weeks
- 18.50/hr starting pay
- 2.25/hr Shift Differential
