Job Title: Intake Therapist
Shift Timing: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
- Current State of Michigan licensure in the corresponding discipline.
- Minimum of one (1) year of post-master’s experience providing mental health treatment services to adults with severe mental illness.
- All professional licenses must remain active, in good standing, and free from disciplinary action.
- Ability to obtain both the Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and Qualified Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Professional (QIDDP) credentials within 120 days of hire.
- Possession of a CAADC credential, or active enrollment in an approved and registered MCBAP Certification Development Plan within six weeks of hire.
- Demonstrated ability to engage adults receiving mental health services, as well as their families and support systems.
- Expertise in identifying service needs, developing initial treatment plans, and transitioning consumers to ongoing treatment services.

Preferred Qualifications
- Full Michigan licensure strongly preferred: LMSW, LLP, LPC

- Ability to establish and maintain therapeutic alliances with consumers and families.
- Cultural competency and sensitivity to diverse populations and experiences.

- Understanding of serious mental illness, substance abuse/dependence, and recovery-oriented treatment practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with consumers, families, providers, and community partners.
