They will provide the marketing and administrative support you need to turn your industry vision into a highly successful business line. Key Responsibilities: Practice Leadership: Spearhead the strategic growth and operational oversight of the new Water/Wastewater practice in California. Client Development: Cultivate municipal, utility, and industrial partnerships, generating targeted annual net revenue with strong benchmark metrics. Project Oversight: Provide executive and technical leadership for water, recycled water, and stormwater projects from planning through construction. Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and build a scalable, multidisciplinary technical team. Must-Have Qualifications: Education: B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Licensure: Current Professional Engineer (PE) registration in California. Experience: 15+ years in engineering consulting, with at least 5 years leading or expanding a water/wastewater practice. Network: Strong existing relationships with California municipalities, utilities, and regulatory agencies. Technical Chops: Proficiency in utility planning, design, hydraulic modeling, and infrastructure rehabilitation. Compensation & Perks: Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 annually (DOE).
